A Year in Industry (YII) placement beginning in September 2025 for at least10 months. 

Work as part of a wider HR team, providing a professional and collaborative HR service within EMSOU, ensuring that business objectives are achieved by providing an effective, proactive and efficient service. HR works to maintain a productive, effective and contented workforce, support managers in their supervision of staff, as well as plan and deliver strategic change, work on HR projects, such as in wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion.

The Role:

  • Support the EMEA publicity coordinator and leads

The Role:

EY Parthenon Strategy Summer Internship

The programme will run for 8 weeks and offers the exciting opportunity to experience what it’s like to work as a strategy consultant and explore the unique opportunities that EY-Parthenon Strategy offers.

The Role:

  • Working on one or two cases during the programme, and be staffed into the full Associate role to assist with tasks.

  • Identifying data sources, gathering, analysing, and interpreting data, and presenting your findings to team members or clients.

The Portland Internship

12-week internship within each of our client-facing teams.

The role:

  • Monitoring political, parliamentary, media and social media activity, sometimes on a daily basis.

  • Conducting research and helping account teams to map relevant stakeholders across the media, politics, policy and specialisms.

  • Helping to draft media materials, building distribution lists and selling-in press releases and feature items.

  • Working with account teams to draft communications content.

  • Helping to organise events: parliamentary launches, press conferences, large scale workshops etc.

  • Undertaking research for new business and participating in the development of proposals.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree or the equivalent such as apprenticeships or similar diplomas.

The role:

  • Design and video support across range of IC channels - monitor and manage digital screens, including content updates, formatting and any technical issues

  • Liaise with the Film, TV, Home Entertainment, News and Parks divisions to update digital screen content

  • Work with Comms Team to create content for printed media & internal channels for major staff events.

Internship (Communications and Advocacy), Education Outcomes Fund, Hosted Fund, REMOTE, 6 months

Deadline: 22/11

The role:

  • Develop external communications material, including articles, website content, and social media content, showcasing EOF, and driving reach and engagement.

  • Provide editorial support through proofreading external communications assets produced across EOF teams.

  • Provide logistical support for in-person and virtual EOF events and convenings. This includes external communications, event preparation and execution.

  • Support the communications team to build relationships with peer organizations and potential partners through, for example, participating in calls and webinars and managing key communications with external parties.

  • Advance the communications team’s internal co-ordination of cross-team projects and tasks through regular engagement with colleagues in other EOF teams.

  • Write proposals and prepare pitch materials to promote EOF to potential partners and fundraising prospects. This could include, for example, narrative on the broader innovative finance eco-system and where EOF fits in.

  • Prepare supporting materials to be presented at quarterly governance meetings with our board and our Communications and Advocacy sub-committee.

  • Assist in the planning, coordination and development of strategic communications projects including a brand review and website build.

  • Assist in the development and execution of communications strategies to promote EOF's impact and advocacy goals e.g. programme launches or promotion of evaluation reports.

Essential

  • Enrolled in a degree programme in an undergraduate or graduate school, or a recent graduate (within the last 2 years).

  • Excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.

  • Excellent written skills. You can convey complex ideas clearly and engagingly and you can adjust your style to reach a variety of different audiences.

  • No immediate relatives working in any UNICEF office

Desirable

  • Experience implementing communications strategies in a complex or international environment, and experience with digital channels and web design is desirable.

  • Familiarity with design and digital communications technology e.g. InDesign, Canva, Content Management Systems (CMS), newsletter distribution (e.g. MailChimp), Google Analytics.

  • Familiarity with social media channels - especially LinkedIn - including posting content and use of analytics to optimize content and track performance.

  • A degree in a relevant subject, such as communications, international development, political science, education, or a related field, would be preferred.

  • Experience or an interest in international development, the global education sector, and international aid is desirable.

2025 Operations Summer Intern - London

10 weeks within our Core Operations team where you will work directly with Operations senior management and across peer groups in all areas.

The role:

  • Help to implement reconciliation across cash, positions, and trades

  • Gather data and aid on numerous ad hoc projects and firmwide initiatives

  • Gain knowledge of the full trade life cycle from trade capture to settlement and ensure trade flow is accurately processed across all systems

  • Reconcile daily and monthly financial data with fund admin and accounting books of record

  • Each summer intern will work on a tailored project that will provide them with real world experience.
